Giant Acorn Barnacle Balanus

A solitary Giant Acorn Barnacle is surrounded by Strawberry Anemones. The feather-like appendages called cirri can be seen extending from the shell of the barnacle. It will use these cirri to filter plankton from the water and eat them.
