A gray reef shark, having won a battle with man, still carries a fishing hook and line. Its left pectoral fin has been cut as well.

Photographed at Blue Corner, Palau in Indo-Pacific on December 30, 2000 with a Nikon F4 with 60mm macro lens, two Ikelite 50 strobes. Fuji Velvia.
